The Reserved Category Cell at CLC Jhanjeri is pivotal in supporting students from diverse backgrounds such as SC/ST/OBC. The main objective of this cell is to ensure equality and provide necessary resources for all students to excel in their academic pursuits.

The cell achieves this goal by offering a dedicated professional team providing guidance, counselling, and personalised student support. They also conduct workshops, seminars, and outreach programs to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

Moreover, the cell actively advocates for students from reserved categories and works towards eliminating any existing gaps. Their efforts contribute to creating a more inclusive and diverse campus environment where every individual is valued and respected.

Objectives

  • Fostering a Secure & Inclusive Learning Community: This initiative aims to cultivate a secure, healthy, and supportive environment that empowers both SC/ST staff and students to thrive within the campus community
  • Proactive Support for SC/ST Staff & Students: This program proactively identifies and addresses challenges faced by SC/ST staff and students. It seeks to prevent discrimination and ensure their well-being as valued members of the academic institution
  • Adherence to Regulatory Frameworks: This committee functions in strict compliance with the regulations established by the concerned body and the formation of a dedicated body for SC/ST staff and students
  • Cultivating an Inclusive Campus Environment: This initiative strives to cultivate a more inclusive campus culture that celebrates diversity and ensures all individuals feel valued, respected, and protected
